Flexi - Pipe Repairs.

What's a flexi-pipe? It's a piece of braided pipe and part of your exhaust, quite close to the engine and as it's name suggests, it's flexible.

Why? Because when your engine is running it vibrates, rocks and generally wobbles about, as it's supposed to. To stop this movement from breaking your exhaust off, the flexi-pipe provides a link between the engine and the rest of your exhaust and isolates your exhaust pipe from all this shaking. The problem is, they break....

While many dealers will tell you that the flexi is all part of the exhaust and that it'll all need to be replaced at considerable cost, we can graft a new peice of flexi in place of the broken one and have you moving again with a big cash saving by keeping the undamaged part of your exhaust intact.

One final thing - if your flexi has broken, it often points to an underlying cause. Have your engine mounts checked to be sure it's not moving more than it should.
